Some of these games work better with both boys and girls, some work better with just boys or girls...

1. Truth or dare. I know it is cliche and usually ends up amounting to nothing, but it is almost a rite of growing up. The way I have seen Truth or Dare work best is to have everyone write five questions for the truth jar and two dares for the dare jar. Each person has to choose from one or the other until they are all gone. This is good for two reasons. First, you might draw your own dare so they aren't too crazy like run down the street naked or something ridiculous that can't be done. Second, it doesn't turn in to escalating dares that become ridiculous and then everyone just chooses truth. This game work with both boys and girls.

2. Dance Dance Revolution. I know you said no board games, but this one is fun. Also, if you have a WII video game, that can be fun, too.

3. If you have a pool, play something like inner tube races, or even skinny dipping at midnight. Skinny dipping was always a favorite of mine, still is and I'm a senior in college. I would recommend not doing this in mixed company. The parents would freak and people are more interested in sneaking a peek than just having fun and swimming naked.

4. Poker. Some people don't know how to play poker, but it is alot of fun. Play for pennies or M&Ms and then the game is about having fun, not losing money. You could also do a strip poker game.

5. Murder Mystery dinners. They sell these in game shops with a suggested menu for dinner, and characters that everyone gets to play and dress up as. Each person has a scipt and everyone tries to solve the mystery. This game you should have both boys and girls.

6. I never. Each person takes a turn saying something like I have never kissed a boy. If you have done what the person says, then you lose a point, take a drink, etc. This can be played with either boys, girls, or both.

7. Kissing Cousins. Have each person write down the names of the boy or girl that they have kissed, touched, seen naked, etc. You decide on what it is you are writing down. Then, compare lists and see how many of you have the same boy or girls name on your list. This should be played with either all boys or all girls, not mixed.

8. If you have enough drivers, do a scavenger hunt. After one or two hours teams will return to your house and turn in their items. Have a BBQ and determine the winner.

Divide in to teams and have a disposable camera, digital, or polaroid for each team and have them get pictures developed at 1 hour photo or on a computer and then share the pictures and stories back at the BBQ. Each picture is worth a different amount of points. Include things like a picture kissing a handsome stranger (the group can vote how many points depending on how handsome), a picture of each team showing their "hooters" in front of a Hooters restaurant, a picture of how many people they can get in a phone booth (one point per person), or all members of a team posed in crowns from Burger King.

You can do tangible "Things" that are worth a certain number of points. For normal scavenger hunt things like paper clips and old movie tickets and a garden tool from the neighbor, those can be 1 point. More difficult things can be 5 points. Include things like an autograph of the high school quarterback or cheerleader, or their mother. The convienence store clerk with the longest name, or the nametag of an employee at a local restaurant. A little more racy, but could be fun would be the sexiest pair of boxer shorts or underwear from a neighbor or someone that you know from high school.

Have fun and stay safe...

Parties, Parties, Parties. I just love 'em!! My ideas are:
A. you could go to a nice restraunt (your choice) and invite a couple friends.
B. have a sleep-over with chick-flick movies (i.e. In Her Shoes)
have great snacks like popcorn and sodas
C. I recently went to a slumber party that had a Survivor theme. You could do that you watch Survivor and like it. What we did was we played Survivor themed games, like water games, dividing into teams, and trivia. It was a lot of fun!
D. Celebrity themed party! Have your friends come over dressed like celebrities (their fave one) and have them bring 2 movies involving that celebrity in it.
E. Pool Party!! If your birthdays in one of the hotter months, have a pool party. Have your friends bring their bathing suits, and have pool-themed games. Like dive for sticks and play volleyball. If you need to get one ask one of your neighbors to borrow theirs.

HAVE FUN TURNING FOURTEEN!!!
