Here is my list Jack WHite, Kurt Cobain, Guitarest from Smashing Pumpkins and I forget his name but he played for Soundgarden but now plays for audioslave these are just a few of my favorites Kurt Cobain though is far beyond the best.

I think Kurt Cobain's style made him famous, but he is a pretty good guitarist (I do like him though, Nirvana rules!). I think Tom Morello is one of the best. He used to be in Rage Against the Machine, but he's in Audioslave now (is that who you meant?).
