Football is a team sport. That said, most of the blame does lay on Rex. The defense did a hell of a job but grossman did a poor job of managing the o, so by the forth the bears d was worn out and it showed as they were getting gashed by the run in the final minutes. Oh yeah, and the picks were just awful.

I don't think is was entirely Rex Grossman's fault. He did have a bad game and could not hold on to the ball. How many people could hold onto the ball that game? Not very many. All in all the Colts played a better game and showed the Bears that they can own them.

No he didnt lose the game, but he did have a larger than average part in it. From his fumbles to his interceptions he played horrible. But the defense wasnt the same defense we've seen all season with the exception of the last few games. I would like to see him leave and maybe the Bears could pick up Carr if Houston lets him go. Even Plummer would prove better than Rex. But if he stays hopefully he'll focus alot more on the task at hand.

**** all of u who say Grossman lost the game. Who's better, Brian Gresie. HaHaHaHa. Yea, he did throw 2 ints, but he didn't cost them the game. How about that revered defense of the Bears. They couldn't stop a Pop Warner team that day. Do u know that there are 53 players on a team, not just 1.
I'm guessing most of u dumbasses don't know a thing about football. The Colts were the better team that day.
Oh yea, doesn't defense win championships?, what happened there?

Even without the one pick that was returned for a touchdown, the Bears still lose 22-17. So you can't blame everything on him. Keep in mind, this was his first full season. Everything he did wrong in the game, and the whole season for that matter, is something that can be worked on and fixed. So I say give the gut a break. If he's still playing the same way at the end of next season, then I say its time to start looking to somebody else to take the snaps.

He should certainly take a large share of the blame; he made several ill-advised throws, including the interception by Hayden that helped clinch it for the Colts. Frankly, i think the Bears focused more on being "disrespected" than in devising a good gameplan to stop the Colts' offense.

Indirectly, yes. the Bears, were winning with great DEFENSE. through, Grossman's inconsistent play, throughout the season, He wore them down by, not giving them adequate rest between series. in other words, GROSSMAN SUCKS!!!!!
hopefully, the Bears can draft or, trade for, a quarterback, in the off season.

My gut reaction answer is YES get rid oh him....
But consider who the quarterback was that GOT them to the SuperBowl
If they can find a better QB, by all means let him go.... but that same statement holds true for ANY NFL or college football team.

No Way!! Everyone at my school is saying that, but it is not true. I think the defense was not doing so good in the last three quarters. The whole team was only really doing good in the 1st quarter. Plus, the Colts are just better.

No it was not his fault it was the defenses. I mean he threw his 1st pick with 12 minutes left in the 4th quarter when they were down by three. up till that point he was having a better game than Peyton.
