well....if your wanting to find death records (like for searching for long lost relatives) try rootsweb.com. Alot of stuff on there is free and its intereting. If your wanting to know about someone dying in a wreck or something recent, try the local newspaper for the area that person was in.

Just google thier name for a recent death and if they have in fact passed away their name will come up on an obituary site.

I always use www.wikipedia.org for that. Well, that's assuming if they are a famous person. For people that are not famous, I'm not sure.
