i've entered all the info in the wii's internet settings, it has found my router, but it will not connect. i've tried like 20 times and all the settings are set just like on the 4 other computers i've set up, but it just won't connect. is there a trick to the 2wire routers?

will changing the channel to 11 screw up the computers connected, or will they all know it changed? i don't have to go change all the computers as well, do i?

i think it needs dsl cable

You need to make sure that your Wireless connection uses either channel 1 or channel 11. For some reason Wii's like either one or the other. I've heard of some cases where they will take a different channel but most people that have issues with it have solved the problem by choosing 1 or 11.

I have a 2wire router also. I just typed in the WEP key in the Wii and it connected on first try...

Get a router with wireless capability and Wii USB connector (??). It does the job for you, it's simple.

whats a 2 wire router? cat5 cable has 8 wires in it... you may need to set up dmz host or redirect certain ports or something in the router settings to oxpose the wii directly to the internet...
