he has a cannon arm , he is a dual threat, he had 20 touchdown two 4 touchdown games he had 1000 rushing the only reason he had that many was of the QB option which he had 300 yards after week five .he is a better QB then romo and he doesent have any recievers so he does it all by him self . plus he wins games for the falcons all by himself . the only reason people hate him is because he doesent fit the mold he will be in the hall of fame probably first ballot . and the falcons new what they where donig when they picked him first in the draft when they could have gotten lt . he is one of the best QB in the league and that is going to be obvious when he gets a top reciever like a harrison or a chad johnson. also he opens up the play action

No body hates him but he is disliked a great deal. Why? Because he can't read defenses worth a dam and never could. He is not coachable and never was. The only reason he gets away with it is because of he exceptional athletic talent. He's a spoiled brat and has had everything handed to him on a silver platter. Why, because of his exceptional athletic talent. He will not stick to the game plan given to him but would rather have everyone stand in awe of his exceptional athletic talent.

Bottom line is that he's a loser. He'll never win even with his exceptional athletic talent because he thinks he's the NFL and he's not!

No, Vick is hated because he is a bad passer and bad decision maker. The fact he can throw it a mile doesn't mean he'll throw it a mile and hit his receiver. Peerless Price was one of the best receivers in the league with the Bills and Vick just gets scared to throw it to him. His receivers are great, he isn't. In fact, his receivers actually don't like him because if you watch a football game played by the Falcons, watch the receivers get WIDE OPEN then Vick runs for a first down so nobody notices. It could be a touchdown, but he either wants the glory or he's scared to throw it. Harrison or Johnson would just be another Price and how does he open up the PA? He can just scramble. Nobody is scared of the Falcons actual running attack anymore only Vick's running attack. Also, Romo actually does make better decisions and it's pretty bad when you have to use a rookie to defend a 6 year veteran. If he made good decisions and had more accuracy, he would definitely be a great quarterback. Now, however, he is only decent.

If he is a first ballot hall of famer, everybody that voted for him should lose their voting rights. This isn't college ball, QBs are supposed to be able to throw. And don't tell me he doesn't have any good recievers - Michael Jenkins is a very servicable reciever and Algea Crumpler is one of the best recieving tight ends in the league. Vick just can't get the ball to them. If his first option isn't open he immediately looks to run, he doesn't follow his passing progressions well at all. Since Vick has been there, no player on the Falcons has had more than 70 receptions. Big time recievers don't want to play on an offense like that.

I don't see how you can think he is the best QB in the league with a 52% completion percantage and a 75.7 rating. Yeah he threw for 20 TDs, but he also threw 13 picks. He only led his team, as a whole, to 29 total offensive TDs. LT had more by himself last year. I don't hate him, but he definitely isn't a dual threat - name five games he has won in his career with his arm? And a cannon arm doesn't help you if you have no idea of where the cannon is aimed.

Oh, and QBs don't open up the play action passing game. Running backs and offensive linemen do that.

Edited for lonely boy: Race has nothing to do with it. Vince Young, in my mind will be, a great dual threat QB. Randall Cunningham was a great dual threat QB. Those guys are bloth black the last time I checked. It has to do with the fact that Vick obviously doesn't work on or is unable to fix his shortcomings in the passing game year after year.

Well the problem with Vick is he plays on the field with 10 other guys....but no one knows that. Vicks runs the ball very well....but he could be better at his passing skills. He has a cannon for an arm but its a loose cannon. He has no control unless he is running the ball. Yes its true he wins games for the Falcons...but he also is a big reason why they lose so many too. It is a TEAM sport...not 1 person. He is a tremendous athlete but he could be soooooo much better if he could stand in the pocket a throw the ball with some accuracy like a Brady or a Manning. He threw 20 TD's last year and had 13 INT's.......Thats not even a 2-1 ratio. He should have better receivers...Thats not his fault. But he should be better at throwing the ball...That is his fault. He is a QB. -Playbookcritic

the reason everyone hates him is he acts like a spoiled superstar, as opposed to a leader. he has no accountability for his actions, and constantly throws his team mates under the bus. now to answer all of your points...
he does have a cannon of an arm, probably top 5 strongest in the nfl. the only problem is that he couldn't hit the ground without gravity. his innacuracy has been a problem and is only accentuated with his recievers errors.
he is not duel threat. as much as people wish he was, he's not. he looks to run way too often and his inability to be a consistant passer allows people to double qb-spy him. not good.
he has better natural ability than romo, but his mental ability sets him down a huge amount. he cannot read blitzes or defenses, which resulted in a dissapointing 75.7 qb rating.
and the rushing arguement. please. the only reason he has the ability to take control of the game is because he has not one, not two, but THREE good runningbacks to control the tiempo.
another reason people don't like vick is he is not a leader or a winner. he disses his teammates, especially when its his fault. he can't admit to sucking sometimes. he always sites his athletic ability as opposed to his accomplishments (because he hasn't had any great ones), and he's a criminal. no matter what they say, he had weed in his water bottle. he payed them out and got away clean, but everyone knows he was smoking dank.

i will grant you one thing, he does have god-awful recievers, except alge. but looking back, he wouldn't have been that much greater without the dropped passes. with any luck, they will get calvin johnson this year, and he will be exposed as a contender or a pretender.
i, personally am banking on the latter. they are going to transfer him to runningback to give him a career ending injury so they won't have to pay him.
good luck winning with your loser.

Because he's a different type of qb. If your not the prototypical 6'5 230 "Pocket passer", you're not a "real quaterback". Just look at how bad vince young was dissected after the rose bowl. And he is 6'5 230. He had one of the best single-game performances of all time, but because he wasn't yout prototypical qb many draft scouts and drat prognosticators started hating on him. Which leads me to another conclussion. Even though people think racism has died down, we still have a long way to go. I think some people just criticize vick because he's black. I know it sound wrong, but some people are to mean spirited when they criticize him for me to think otherwise.

Because he is the QB and Falcons fans cant except that all the talent on that team has gotten them nowhere so they need someone to blame. Vick is the reason they won all the games they did and he has to do it with his legs because their WR's suck. If he throws the ball instead of running and the WR's drop them the way they do he will still get blamed.

There are many reasons to hate on Vick. Number one, he has not proven worthy of the number one overall pick that he was in 2001. He makes nice runs all over the field but he could not hit a barn if his life depended on it. One of the most inaccurate quarterbacks in N.F.L history. Falcons have used first round picks on recievers but he is either too stupid or too selfish to become a pocket passer. He is one of the most overrated players out there.

I'll go with u on he;s better than Romo, but come on. First Ballot? Try no ballot. Try he sucks. They go to the last resort on him before he becomes a bust, and that's having no recievers. Do u no how many of those drops were bad passes. More than half. So, shut the **** up, dumbass.
