On raw and smackdown lately we keep getting a match "from the vault" are they running shorter than 2 hours now and just putting an extra match in? And why are they showing us matches from 3 months ago, i wouldnt mind seeing some stone cold or early shawn michaels matches

The show still runs for 2 hours but with less "live" action.I think they're deliberately holding back on the big matches in the run-up to Mania.This "vault" thing only appeared about 3 weeks ago.The writers are running out of non-W/Mania ideas & are concentrating on the big boysThe "vault" match is just a convenient filler.

they arnt running shorter they got more then enough wrestlers. they just want you to see a look into the past to show what u c now isnt all there is to wrestling. to show you trhe old skool and how it led up to today. if we are hving a latter match we wantgt to see Razor Ramon. If we are seeiung Taker we want to see the old school undertaker when he won the WWF title. connecting current events to the past gives todays event substance and feeling.

Partly because they're running out of ideas, plus they are living of what they used to be and now that they're losing some fans to TNA they're showing older stuff before the fans stopped viewing in hope of gaining them back.
