Which do you like better for a vacation, and why?

While I'm at it, isn't Universal Studios in both places?
BTW -- I've lived in both states and prefer California weather, but mostly I just want the best experience for my kids' first time!

Definately Disney World. I grew up in California and lived only an hour away from Disneyland. We went there quite frequently. I have been taking my family to Disney World now for the past 6 years and we love it. Much more variety as far as parks go and you cant beat Florida weather either.Yes, Universal Studios is both in Anaheim and Orlando, but Universal actually owns two parks in Orlando. The other is called Islands of Adventure. Also, Busch Gardens is a good park too, plenty of roller coasters and tons of things for young children. BTW, our 3 girls ages 10, 5 and 2 all love Disney World.

Disney international - a super sort of greater parks - that is greater handy. have not been to Tokyo or Paris (Disney). yet there are some rides at Disneyland that they don't have at Disney international (Indiana Jones & Matterhorn). I do love California.

Disneyland, because it is the original. There is just something about being in California and knowing Walt Disney was right there, the history of the place. You have California Adventure right next door too. It reminds me of being a kid every time I take my kids there!

Disney land for a experience for the older teen. But for Disney World, it definitely has more of a variety..

I would pick Disney World because they have more of a variety of rides. Plus Epcot and has plenty of fancy resturants.
I was just at Disney world last year I loved it!!!

DisneyLand isn't as big. I've only been to part of DisneyLand, but spent a week or so at DisneyWorld and it was hella cool. I'd go back, and I plan on taking my kids (once I have some!)
DisneyWorld has Epcot center and the Animal Adventure park, which I've heard is pretty cool.

I like Disneyland, because it's close to where I live (California) and they have cool rides. But Disneyworld is also cool, I would defineitly go there for a vacation since it's in Florida. Isn't it near
Epcot, too? But they also have cool rides and more, since it's DISNEYWORLD. Either one is great.

Disney World definitely. Much Much Much bigger and in Florida. So much more special being there where there is downtown Disney and downtown Orlando its very exciting.
