yes! you kids think you need to grow up so fast! did you know that in the 1920's girls who were 15 still played with dolls? you are 12 and even though society tells you that you need to be a teenager your wrong! i liked cartoons like dragon tales when i was 12 im not kidding. just do whatever you want its cute! i love carebears and im 18!

Yes, you see when people start comiing to teenage hood then they kind of start to like things that when they were in fourth grade seemed babyish.
When i was in middle school i had girls in my class give out dora the explorer, carebears, and other baby programish stuff valentines.
Hey i gave out strawberry shortcake one year and hello kitty an other year.
Believe me that there is nothing wrong.
Trust me.

I'm 40 and I have a slight Hello Kitty obsession. I bought a Hello Kitty rug for my bathroom in my condo at the Sarino store last year. I have a friend coming over tonight who is close to 50 and she loves Hello Kitty too. I got her some Hello Kitty stuff for Christmas. So NO, you are not too old. You have many Hello Kitty (etc.) years ahead of you!

YES IT IS OK :) I'm slightly obsessed with Sanrio things (Hello Kitty and all) - - - I have several MY LITTLE PONY horses (inspired by the OC's Princess Sparkles) - - - and an obsession for Lisa Frank stuff. I'm 23! Oh, and I think Carebears are cute! I want to get one but they don't have it where I'm living. THAT and Lisa Frank stuff. Maybe that's why I'm still obsessed with LF stuff.

I'm 12 myself, and sure it is. Your friends may think its unusual and strange, but it doesn't matter what they think. I still watch PBS kids and I love the toys that little kids play with. The truth is, when we get to this age, we think that we know everything, and that simple toys are too stupid for us and to get used to not liking stuffed animals etc., we poke fun at them, although I've long gotten over Barney and Elmo etc, a few glances at Hello Kitty, and My little Pony etc, is perfectly fine, and don't listen to what your friends say, in my mind, tell them in your mind, Go kick a monkey!

okay hunny.... first of all YES!!! I'm almost 14 years old and I'm seriously OBSESSED with the carebears. I need help with this its so bad!! But of course, you're fine!! Don't let anyone tell you its not okay because trust me! It is! Now I don't really like my little pony or strawbery shortcake... but i rle like Hello Kitty and Carebears! As long as you are okay with it.
I know of a 23 year old male who likes Hello Kitty.
He get teased a lot about it because he doesn't hide it. He has these things in his car and his room. He has wall hangings, air freshener, plush toys, and such in his room. He shrugs off the teasing. This is about 5-6 years ago. I heard through the grapevine that he is married ( to a women) He likes Hello Kitty and he is confident about himself and that's cool.

It is definately okay! All you have to tell people is that you 'collect' them! My daughter's 26 and has a huge collection of My Little Pony and Carebears! It's alot of fun to collect these toys and someday they'll be worth alot too!

YES!!! i am 37 and love Hello Kitty and Miffi and japanese stuff generally, it i really cute and feminine. i have never liked Carebears though, but it really doesnt matter. Whatever floats your boat. You are not hurting anyone and it shows you have a nuturing and caring nature. Go girl x

It's perfectly fine to like the things that you do, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's good for everyone to hang onto some things from their childhood, some favorite things, even toys, it helps keep a person young. There's nothing wrong with liking perfectly normal things, even if you are older than the average age group for those items. If you like them, then go with it!
