Last night I dreamed that I there was a black rattlesnake that started out small, then got bigger and bigger. It started shaking its rattle at me. I got nervous that it was about to strike, so I killed it.

What the heck???

To see a rattlesnake in your dream, represents the passage of time.

Black symbolizes the unknown, unconscious, danger, mystery, darkness, death, mourning, hate or malice.

To dream that you are nervous about something, indicates that you are experiencing self-doubt and feelings of insecurity.

To see something growing in your dream indicates that you have reached a new level of maturity or spiritual enlightenment.

This dream may also represent a part of you or your life that you wish would leave you alone and stop creating a nuisance.

Killing may represent the killing off of old parts of yourself and old habits.

It sounds as if you're passing through a new lifestage or passage of time-from childhood to puberty, or puberty to teens, or teens to young adulthood, etc. This unknown terrritory is causing you to experience self-doubt and feelings of insecurity about yourself and everything around you. You wish this nuisance to leave you alone, but, you know that killing off of old parts of yourself and old habits is necessary in order to move on into this new phase in the passage of time. Think of this as like a snake who has to shed its old skin to accommodate his growth with new skin! And bravo for you-you were up to the challenge!

You have just recently begun a relationship with someone you previously did not know. As the relationship grows (gets bigger) you will soon see the evil in this person, how black their soul is and how poisonous they are. Sooner or later they will show their true intentions to hurt you (shake their rattle at you). You will then have to end (kill) the relationship in order to protect yourself.

Rattlesnakes aren't black, so don't worry about it.

I actually took a course on dream interpretation in college, but all I learned is that there are really no reasons for our dreams. They are simply an outlet for our minds. Don't worry about it.

a dream about something threatening u is a sign of a hidden worry or fear, usually something you r trying to keep under wraps
but the fact that u killed it means that your sub conscience knows that u can overcome this said fear
