Can you be a bit more specific. What are the errors? What exactly is happening to your browser?

Simply getting browser error messages doesn't mean you need to purchase a new computer. If your computer is 8 years old, you can upgrade your memory and you'll see a huge difference in it. Depending on what the error messages are, I would exhaust any of the technical things that you can do, or you can find someone else to help you with before I'd invest in buying another computer.

What kind of errors?
What's your computer doing?

You should post more information..

Did you try reinstalling Yahoo! Browser? If not, give it a try. If a computer works, why get rid of it? Unless you want to play newer games or run more memory and CPU-intensive programs, in which case you could either upgrade (cheaper option) or get a new one - it depends on the PC specs really.

Technically no, your hardware may not be the issue, and it probably isn't.

However, Good God Man... an 8 year old computer... time to buy a new one.

If your computer has 256MB of RAM get a full version. If less, get XUBUNTU.
