Cannavaro or materazzi??? or anyone else on the national team

I say DEFINITELY cannavaro!! HE'S GORGEOUS AND AWESOME!! but materazzi does awesome bicycles.... you know what?? they're all good cuz they're ITALIAN!!

Cannavaro is a great player. He plays the "Italian" style of football (stop the opponents' attack and make a quick counter-attack) extremely well without resorting to the dark side of Italian football-- the diving, dirty tactics, and whining to the referees.
Personally, though, I prefer to watch Gattuso because he also plays the Italian style of tough defense while also managing to bring that same mentality to attacking, which many of the other Italian national team players don't do. He's just relentless after the ball, and despite the physicality with which he plays the game, you don't see him make cheap & dirty fouls.

Brazil Rules the football world, but I say Cannavaro, because he is not only a great player but he also plays for Madrid & how awsome is that???

Grosso and Buffon are the ones to be praised. Buffon only conceded an own goal and a penaly kick. While Grosso won the match for Italy-Australia, and in the final against France, when he kept his cool to score the final spot kick.
