No join the club I hate doing dishes too I have even resorted to buying paper ones so that I can just throw them away and I'm not talking at holiday time I mean for everyday meals too I do make everyone eat off paper plates at Christmas time I don't want to spend all day washing dishes after I have spent the whole morning not to mention the 2 days before cooking and baking

Nope, You are exactly sane, or trying hard to hold onto your sanity. I too threw out all of my dishes 4 years ago, I was tired of always being the one to clean the dishes so I threw out all glass; plates, cups, bowls, and all silverware... We now use paper products, and plastic silverware. I only kept the pots and pans, just in case I felt like cooking a meal! At first my family was shocked.... then they accepted it. Eventually we will try to use real dishes again, but for now I spend much less time cleaning them.

Funny thing is my mother did the same thing.. And we ate on paper plates for the longest time.. and just to let you know.. The kids of the house hold purchased new ones and respected my mother's wishes.. clean and put away.. keep the sink clean. It wasnt hard after we learned to rinse right o way.. and put them in the dishwasher.. I got rid of the dishwasher.. when the kids got better at cleaning them.. I returned it.

Better of buying a dishwasher , I do wash dishes sometimes but have to say dishwasher gives you more free time , especially if you want to sit here for a good couple of hrs

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Paper & plastic rule. Since I found those Hefty microwavable paper bowls I don't even use pots and pans. Life is goooood....

Sounds like you have to many dishes. I've cut mine down to three of each, that way when they're gone someone needs to wash them. Stop cutting down trees for plates people!! This old world can only take so much.

pure laziness

what a shame

all you people throwing things away are going to fill up all the landfills, then what are we going to do? no wonder this planet is so polluted.

if people are too lazy to wash dishes i hate to see who will be running our country in 10 years
