It's not a question of money. Hunger is mostly caused by civil strife, tribal conflicts, corrupt governments, ruthless dictators, and third world socialism.

Truly ending hunger would require the western powers to completely take control of Africa -- killing the dictators, killing most of the corrupt officials, killing a lot of the more aggressive tribes, dismantling the governments and replacing them with puppet governments. In short, extreme imperialism and colonialism.

Only THEN would it be effective to start spending the trillions required to build up the physical and capital infrastructure for food production and distribution that is so lacking in many 3rd world countries.

Sounds like a plan to me, let's roll.

All the Food that goes in the Trash in rich Country's every Day,would feed the Rest of the World, and if there is to much of anything, the rather destroy it,to keep the Prize up,then giving it to poor People.

The question is not how much it would cost, but if "our" leaders do want it ? And the other question is : Why are there so much hunger and misery in the world, although most people don`t want this kind of situation to go on ?!

If 10% of the average $907 that Americans spent on Christmas gifts went to children in need, 42 million children could be helped for an entire year according to statistics provided to me during an interview with World Vision.

This year, I conducted an experiment, and asked for donations to World Vision and Heifer.org instead of Christmas gifts. Many folks simply chose to give me gifts anyway, but many did make donations instead, resulting in $137 going to these charities.

I also have a website where I sell art to support these two fine Christian organizations. The next time you need art for your walls, please consider my website. My personal favorite of my own work is Stir the Groove3. Recently I have had several new artists donate to this cause also If you know of artists who might wish to join this charity model, please send them my way.
