Since you are aware of it, then you can choose to make good decisions about things that may hurt you. Just being able to admit that you have an addicitve personality is a step in the right direction. Stay away from things that you know you can't resist that could become addictions. You are really going to have to tell yourself that you won't give in to that addiction just because you are prone to it. Try getting involved in some good things that you can get addicted to like walking, bike riding, excercising,etc. It's up to you what things you allow yourself to get involved in. You know what you're like....make good choices for YOU!

Yes I'm addicted to leaving my glasses in the bathroom after I brush my teeth. EVERY DAY I do this for years and years. I'm addicted to makeup, jewelry, perfume, lotions and I think answering questions on yahoo answers. It depends what you are addicted to as to how you can handle it. If it is life threating then seek a doctors help, if it hurts no one, then don't let it worry you. Take Care!!!!!!!!
