i have been disputing this question with my roomate for a long time i know i dream in color and he allways tells me iam full of it that dreams are only in black and white. how many of you dream in color? black and white?

I know for sure I had one dream that was in color and also 3 dimensional. There were a bunch of squiggly lines and then suddenly word came in to focus like one of those 3D pictures. The words said "This is a 3D color dream". This is a true story.

I don't know the mechanics behind the colors in dreams, but I see very vivid colors sometimes. Last night I had a dream that I saw a snake in a lake and it was bright orange. I definitely remembered that in the morning. I know that some people dream in black and white, but I never had a black and white dream from what I can recall.

One theory is that people dreamed in black & white because of black & white tv's. Then in the 50's color television was introduced to our society and people started to dream more in color.
One report I read said that 80% dream in color. Apparently some do dream in black and white.

I generally dream in black and white, but there are exceptions. Even though my dreams are far apart (months), once in awhile there is red. I can tell you about the dreams but can't tell you exactly where the color is.

Dreams can be either. It just depends on the person. I dream in both color and black and white. It all depends on what's going on in your subconscious thoughts.

Sincerely I have no idea.
I remember perfectly the action frokm my dreams but if they have colours or not I don't know because there is never enough light to see coulours well.
If you dream in colours then probably you have a source of light in the dreams,there is light in the room or outside.
Have you ever dreamt yourself on outside space in plain daylight ?

i dream in color usually... last night i had a dream in black and white but it was kinda like that sin city movie where sometimes there are color and sometimes there isnt... its wierd
