What made children violent before video games? What about the violent street gangs from the 1800's that roamed the streets of New York City? Was it video games, rock and roll music, TV, or Britney Spears?

People have to assume responsiblity for their own behavior.

Weel icve been playing violent video games for 15 years, my family wasnt too worried bout age ratings, and i havent gone out and murdered anyone.

I think that it is bad people that use the games as an excuse. No-one could get th idea to go out and just attack someone without something wrong in the head first.

I think it might add fuel to the fire. In my opinion kids shouldnt be allowed to play violent games but at the same time I think they should be responsible enough to know that they shouldnt try things that they see on a video game.

No, I don't believe it does. That's an excuse made by parents who haven't brought their kids up properly.
