I hav an Lg U880 locked to 3 and want to unlock it so i can use an orange sim. Can this be done????
If yeh does any1 kno a place in glasgow??

There are a number of shops and Market Traders who
can do this and also some dealers on ebay. Stick your model number in a search engine to find the ebay traders.
Cost around £10.
If you want to try it yourself you need some software, a PC and a special lead. I unlocked my son's who upgraded and the LG is better then the old battered Motorola by miles.

I had mine unlocked - took it to a market stall who did this kind of thing, he couldn't do it on the spot and had to send it away. However this was in N E England. Sure you must have similar stalls up in Glasgow? Good luck - very annoying isn't it
