Anyone that can keep a beat can perform and people think its great music. Have we lost our sense of taste?

I agree, except when you say, "todays music." There has always been crappy music in the "mainstream." I think the first "boy band" was The Monkees. There's a simple solution: turn off your radio. There's plenty of great music just about everywhere else. I suggest attending the nearest open mic night. It's Friday; tonight would be a good night to start.

Well at least some people have got taste in music. I listen to people who actually sing. Not everyone has lost their taste. RAP SUCKS!

absolutely. It's sad that the most important thing is to swear as much as possible to for a song to be a hit. I think that in certain forms of music, talent is a hindrance rather than a help.

I haven't, and apparently you haven't, but the general public has. It seems that the music industry no longer wants to know if you like something enough to buy it, but if it is not bad enough to make you change the station.

Real music comes out of Austin, TX.

yes, i think we have

but lucky me, i don't listen to that crap, and there is still a cool station, 95.5 that plays the music that i like.

wat ever happened to being original and writing our own songs?

and i notice that there arent many metalheads or any other rockers around anymore, so only those few that are still around know about real music
