I was just wondering who everything thinks will replace Forsberg as the Flyers captain. I'm thinking it might be Hatcher again, since he was Captain while Forsberg was out with his injury.

Hatcher and Gagne are the likely candidates... but maybe they should let one of the younger players like Umberger or Carter wear an 'A' at least. Hatcher won't be around when (if) the Flyers are contenders again.

I think it will either be Simon Gange or Derian Hatcher. I am leaning more towards Gange though, because I think Stevens will want to take his team away from the past and bring them to the New Era of Flyers Hockey, which has to start now. He will want to show them that a change has been made, and the is the present, not the past.

Gagne -Hatcher will be gone soon-probably to Dallas, I would say Gagne. Richards will be a captain but not yet.

I would say Hatcher or Gagne. They have a tendency to go with youth from time to time so Gagne could be a possiblity!

Probably Hatcher, since he's been in the NHL longer than Gagne.

I am thinking either Derian Hatcher or Simon Gagne.

I'm gonna say Gagne.

He's been with the team, and ONLY this team for 7 straight years now and will probably be their go to guy now. He's 27 and certainly someone to build a team around. He's knwon to have a good attitude and will be the guy young players such as Claude Giroux and Steve Downie, ask advice from in the future.

It could be Hatcher just for experience, but my original guess was Simon Gagne.

probally gange or hatcher..since hatcher was already el capitan while foreburg was out he'll probally be it though...to bad...the flyers were actually playing better..it'll be a shame if the don't win another game this season cause of that trade
