Yes I think most people get unwanted thoughts in their head sometime and I'd share some of them with you but then I wouldn't be able to quit thinking about them. I will say it often has to do with people I love getting hurt or worse.

I think everyone with or without OCD has unwanted thoughts, the only difference is that people with OCD process it differently.........I have thoughts of certain people in my life dying and the impact it would have on my life, but my mind will run through a scenario and that's it (its more like a mental to do list if this happens). People with OCD run though scenarios several times with alternate endings almost fixated until they move on to the next item.

Yes.
Pretty much everyone at some point in thier life will have unwanted thoughts.
If however it gets too bad, you can get help with it. I'm not talking about drugs, I'm talking about cognitive therapy.
There is an excellent book, can't remember the author offhand, but its called, 'Feeling Good' the new mood therapy.
You could probably find it on Amazon.
It shows you how to retrain your thoughts.
If you're only having the odd one or two though I'd not worry too much.
If you're going through a lot of stress right now, or have a lot of changes happening in your life, this could be a factor.

I always get unwanted thoughts. To me they are horrible, i always think of like car accidents or people dieing, or felling school, or having my boyfriend break up with me. Its not the kind of thoughts that just go away i have to seriously think about them and then convience myself that its not going to happen. I dont have OCD at all. Your psychologist is right, every one gets them. some people get them more than others, i belive its just the type of person you are.

Yes, everyone has unwanted thoughts. I have thoughts about people in general that I would never dream of saying out loud. The next second I say to myself "where did that come from?" I often have to spend time in prayer and meditate on good things so that the Lord helps me in this.

Yes I get them every second of the day, I can't help it they just come, and boy are they morbid!! I kind of think it might be the person you're trying to hide back and thats why its all cluttered up in your thoughts, just so you don't really show your actual thoughts. Because if I were to show mine and not think them, I would be in jail, or in some mental institute. Overall having bad thoughts is normal, I think everyone gets them, but some more than others.
