Read the description carefully, it says "While you have a face-up "Gadget" monster on your side of the field, this card gains 2000 ATK". And the answer is you only need one gadget. In my opinion, it's better than Stronghold The Moving Fortress because it only needs one gadget. (There are still better cards like Beresk Gorilla, 4 Star / 2000ATK 1000DEF.) Hope it helped!
