Is loss of libido a steady downward curve for men or does it rapidly drop at some age point.

Your libido shouldn't drop radically until you get near or past 50.
Reasons for abnormally low libido:
Poor diet
Too much alcohol
Stress
Overweight
Circulatory/cardiac problems
Poor physical fitness
Performance anxiety (fear you won't be able to satisfy a partner)
Lack of communication
Anger/depression
Vitamin deficiency
As you can see, a lot of these conditions can be and usually are linked, a poor diet would naturally lead to vitamin deficiency, poor physical condition and probably overweight. Overweight would lead to circulation problems.
Stress can cause people to overeat, etc.
Trouble in the relationship with the partner is the biggest "killer" of sexual desire I can think of.

Stress can be the cause of your problem worrying about how you will perform is making it worse I went through a phase a few years ago and got some Viagra from the doctor it did what it was supposed to do but it also gave me back the confidence and hay presto I no longer have a problem. By the way I'm 58

Somewhat steady for most. Obvious factors are diabetes, heart conditions and thyroid, and medications you might be on. And testosterone production can be off more than normal.

A reliable way to start is to have an endocrinologist check you out to see if there is a treatable problem before you start self-treating.

Believe or not, libido is in reverse proportion to stress of any kind.

If you can manage your life with minimum stress, such as you have a very good, successful career, good nutrition, always lay back, happy, your libido will always with you.

That's why famous and rich folks always are horny, males or females.

Libido can last to very old ages, except the quality of performance in man will slowly vanish as golden and silver years are coming.

It is more or less depend on state of mind. The decreasing /lack of interest in sex is common. But there is no age limit for male libido. There are good performers even at the age of 65.My sexual urge contines to be high after 30.If you have good women around ,you can keep the gun ready always to shoot. That is all.

Find a good woman or man. Libido should last into your senior years. Good Luck!
