Cut a potato in half, make sure the electric is off, screw potato into fixture, the when fully inserted turn counter clockwise, broken bulb should come out with it.

turn off the power, then take a remove the old light bulb and put in the new one. If the bulb part is broken then take a pair of needle nose pilers and then remove.

Make sure the light switch is turned off, then jamb a potato onto the broken light base and turn counter clockwise.

put on a pair of gloves
make sure the light switch is off
take a potato and cut it in half
slowly put the potato on the broken light bulb
and unscrew

2 ways that I know of
1) flip the braker (PLEASE) and use needle nose pliers...plyers...whatev' pinch the metal part and turn
2) use half a potato to grip the broken glass and turn
