Why are those talk shows so one sided? Why can't they ever support the controlling husband's who make sure their house is run right and their wife does what she needs to do? I don't understand this.

This is because, they only choose the stories which the viewers want to see, and these more often then not prove to be sided towards the "victimized" parent, or spouse(usually female). I think this is because the American people see a controlling wife as a "wussy" thing to have, because it shows weakness in the husband. Plus showing support for these people is considered wrong in their society... why support someone who doesn't let them party? or at least thats the way I see it...

Because a husband should take responsibility for his family as should a wife, but no one should be controlling. Marriage is a partner ship, not a dictatorship.

I make sure my house is clean and run right and dinner is on the table every night because I love my husband (of 3 years,btw) and CHOOSE too.
Controlling husbands are a$$holes who tell their wives what to do and do NOT give them any freedom of choice.

It's because controlling men are just scared little boys! They're so afraid of losing what they have, so they have to beat a woman's self-esteem down to make her stay with him and to make sure that she will always give in.

Maybe because women watch more talk shows than men so the talk-show producers think they can be sexist and get away with it.

Duh! Men are no better then women and women are no better then men! So why should men be rewarded for beating there wifes? And why do they try to transform them into their "perfect" wife? How would you feel if you got married and your wife/husband started to hit you, verbally abuse you, and make you dress and act a certin way. If you feel that way, do you support Adof Hitler too?!

I guess there is a fine line. Aside from that...most of "those talk shows" are a bunch of bologna and have to be presented that way to get viewer support and ratings. Drama, drama, drama...everyone loves it.
