Leslie Gore sang the original version of the song. It was released in the early 60's.
She sang the song "Its My Party..." and its about a girl that saw her boyfriend cheating on her with another girl. Then she released another song called "Its Judy's Turn to Cry", which talked about her boyfriend coming back to her.
