Hi. I think that HP laptops are great. you can get a good one for less than 1000 at most stores or on eBay.

Windows Vista Home Premium. 1 gig or more of ram. Dual core or better proccesor. Good Graphics card. Probably 100 gig or more harddrive

Go to the www.delloutlet.com There you can find good computers w/ warranties for much less than their original price. This website sell dell's re manufactured, returned, and end lease machines.
