I'm afraid of not existing. I like life.....I'm not wild about not being around to sense becoming fertilizer.

I fear death because there is a lot I want to get done while I'm here. Plus, I fear the process that would cause me to die. I hate pain. But the part that comes after the death, whatever it is, I don't fear it.

I am not afraid of death, but enjoy living while I can.
I have no idea what, if anything happens after life, but there are benefits in whatever it is, from nothingness to anything else.

You're generalizing....Some people, like me, are not afraid of death because we know enough about what comes after. I am afraid of the method of dying, unless death comes quietly in my sleep.
