Do the shirts come apart in the wash and stuff?

depends. Most "designer" clothing from there is good quality. By this I mean, the coats, jeans, skirts, shoes. The shirts are a little poorly made, you can definitely tell in the summer clothing line.

Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Just because it's the "thing" to wear right now, you're paying for the fact that it says American Eagle on the tag. They are pretty poorly made, and I suggest going with more quality clothing, because I once got a plain blue shirt from there, and there were holes in the pits after the first wash! It's not what I'd call "quality", especially since a lot of the time you pay top-dollar for it.

I love American Eagle, but it is all in how you was your clothes. You should not put anything in the dryer that ruins your clothes and makes them age really fast. When you pull it out of your washing machine put it directly on a hanger to hang dry. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure of the shirts but I know the pants are the best. I always get my jeans there because they're good quality, last forever, and fit really well.

no actually I'm wearing one of their shirts right now and I love it. I've washed it a couple times, and my friend even had it for a while before I did.

My daugher shops there and I haven't seen any damage from washing the clothes.

On the other hand, I think that they are pretty good quality. But, overpriced, I think. I prefer Old Navy.
