Depends, are you a professional designer with a firm? Then use the firms / company's contact to put one on.
If it is just you, go to fashion expos (Wedding Shows, Craft...) or start one at your local mall / community centre.
Advertise huge!
Make sure you have a sell-able label.
Great models.
Great music and sets.
Your models, music, sets and overall feeling should portray what you want to show.
If your designs are gauzy, airy and light, have the atmosphere more angelic, iridescent, spring... not dark and gothly.
A friend of mine designs wedding dresses and she goes to Wedding Shows and has displays, portfolio and a small fashion show while there. She says the key is advertise and know your targeted audience to whom you would want to purchase the designs.

You will need clothes, location, model, music, planning, marketing, and people who want to see it. You can start by helping out in other people's show to see how it run. I help out as a dresser at Saks Fifth once, it's crazy and very exciting. Too exciting for little old me :).
Anyway, for location, I have been to some small club or bar that will host a mini fashion show. And then you will have to post an ad calling some new model or just skinny good looking people... you will have to train them on the walk. Don't forget the music, make up,pre- fitting, shoe, handbag, marketing, etc... It's important that you know everything or you have someone who know everything otherwise it's very tough to pull one off. Good Luck.

Fashon shows are all about selling clothes so what you need is a line!
study how to make manufacture and distribute clothing all over the world. You design a line get your girls and run them down the runway. If it's "hip" you can get deals to sell your stuff say in all the big stores!

you can start a fashion show by wearing fashionable clothes.
The trick is to be a leader of fashion,not a follower.!!.

first you need to design your clothes then get anybody to model
then think of where you are going to do the fashion show then make invitations cards. hope it help

first make sure you've got the ideas down. designs, clothes, equipment, money- if required, stuff like that.
then assemble a team. models, people to help out wherevr needed.
find a place and time.
then send out invites or tell people- you know.
