I would suggest a light tackle setup..maybe 5-10lb test line and very small hooks. Set the drag real light so you dont pull the hook out when you set it. Small worms should be good bait...
Fillet them, add a lil butter (get some from the condiments rack at like a KFC or someplace that serves biscuits), salt and pepper (same rack)..tasty!

Or you could just eat em raw, college kids been doing it for years, and they're in college so they have to be smart, right?

Would probably be safe to eat the fish but you may not be safe when your neighbour finds out you ate them lol

Sure, why not.? LOL! They are just fish and will taste like fish, right?. While you're out & on the prowl get a couple of cats and maybe a med. sized dog. That should keep your gut fed while you look for a job.

Nope, ornamental fish are born a raised in water that we put all sorts of additives in. Some of the stuff you put in water for ornamental fish would kill you pretty quick.

In the long run it might be safer to eat their grass. seriously, that way your neighbors might be happy, you'll kindof be mowing the grass for them. Or you could just take the easy way out and go to a soup kitchen
