I am a member of Birthdayalarm.com - if you are awful for forgetting birthdays (like me) it is great, you enter all your friends/family birthdays and set the "alarm" for when you want to be warned (I myself get 2 e mails, one warning me a week before and then a second reminder 3 days before, you can choose your own settings)
I've found I'm no longer forgetting heaps of birthdays no more! it also has e cards you can send aswell if you like.
