I have an oven and with spills and grease over a period of time, inside the oven has lots of grease stuck. Some are dried up and some are still sticky and I can't get them off? What's the best way to remove these old grease stuff from inside the oven without using some expensive chemical? I tried the dish washing detergent and other general purpose cleaner which it's suppose to cut grease, but they only seem to be able to clean the lightly stuck ones only... Please help!

Easy-Off Oven cleaner- works like a charm.
Leave it on long enough, then give it a few minutes more- and wear protective gear (gloves, goggles etc)

The best thing to use on that is called "Mr. Muscle" and it isn't expensive. I clean houses for a living and I'm here to tell you that it's the greatest stuff on the market. Make sure you let it set for about an hour and everything will wipe right out. If something is stuck on, like burned on the oven, then just take a single edged razor blade and scrape it off.

Sprinkle a thick coat of baking soda on the baked on grease, and then wet it with water from a spray bottle. Leave it sit overnight, and then scrub with a sponge in the morning.

This also works on ceramic/stone bakeware (pizza stones, pampered chef stoneware, etc.).

a bowl of ammonia, cooked on low for a few minutes, then leave overnight. Cheap and it works. Watch out for the smell, though!
