This may sound peculiar, but try using
Preparation H Cream on under eye circles. It's an old beauty hint we ladies have adopted despite it being a product used for very different purposes. Evidentally the two types of skin are similar enough to warrant this use, as crazy as it might seem.
Also one other hint that you might also try is this:
On arising in the morning stand up and with your right hand, gently but firmly with open palm flat, slap under your right bust...that's where your Liver is and you're trying to wake it up to do its job for you. I've heard that under eye circles are a tipoff that the liver needs stimulating.
It probably can't hurt any either, right?
Good Luck.

The absolute best concealer to use is Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer. It covers EVERYTHING!. Under eye circles, burn marks, birth marks, hickies, bruises, acne, scars, brown spots. I have covered them all completely and no one knew they were there, even up close. It has to be blended with you finger gently to cover and let it set a minute. Don't rub it in. I have extremely dark circles and no one ever believes me that's how good it works. You can use it without foundation. I usually use foundation over it. Estee Lauder Double wear Foundation of course. It stays all day until you take it off. You can't rub it off once it sets and it doesn't feel like your wearing anything. This foundation must be applied with a wet sponge (triangle), a little goes a long way and looks very natural. Don't put it on dry or it is too thick and hard to blend. Ask for a sample to try it for free.

foundation is what u use all over ur face, concealer is for small spots that u can use to cover zits, beauty spots, and dark circles. if the concealer doesnt cover the circles all the way, apply foundation to cover them more and to even out the tone.

according to bobbi brown cosmetics website, for under eye circles you should actually use a concealor that is a shade lighter than your foundation.

A Bobbi Pointer: "Undereye concealer should be one shade lighter than your skin tone. If the concealer looks ashy, it's too light. If it looks very yellow, it's too dark."
