My favorite has to be the Harry Potter series, for personal reasons.
I also adore the Emily books by L. M. Montgomery and Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" and "New Moon."
When I was younger I read all the Black Stallion books, most anything related to Nancy Drew, and all the Baby-Sitter's Club books up to about number 70, plus about 12 of the mysteries and 10 super specials.
