My favorite has to be the Harry Potter series, for personal reasons.
I also adore the Emily books by L. M. Montgomery and Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" and "New Moon."
When I was younger I read all the Black Stallion books, most anything related to Nancy Drew, and all the Baby-Sitter's Club books up to about number 70, plus about 12 of the mysteries and 10 super specials.

1) Harry Potter series (I can't wait for the 7th book!)
2) Eragon trilogy (I can't wait for the last book either!)

I like the 'Wheel of Time' books, although I haven't read them all yet. The series has 14 books, or some hefty number like that. It's going to take me a while...
