It's because of the writers' strike, there was a delay in producing new episodes. The next episode will air on April 24 and there will be four more after that. The next season is currently slated to begin in 2009.

hey there....not to be really flip, but have you checked out the number of questions on here since last night about this episode? It must have been huge in the ratings!

She won't die....it is called Grey's Anatomy after all....I suppose they could always refer to the Anatomy and Physiology book used by countless Med students across this country, but that would be really dry...don't you think?

It was a great episode...I especially liked McSteamy comforting McDreamy!

YES!!! I was surprised by what happened, but the whole time I was thinking "They won't kill her off ... she's the main character!"

She did look so blue ... why didn't she try & swim? Doesn't she know how?? I didn't get that part. Did she WANT to die?? I mean, unless the water was SO cold that hypothermia set in too quickly for her to try... but McDreamy jumped in & pulled her out & didn't freeze!

I was also thinking that Denny might tell her to "go back" & tell Izzy he loves her & that he's proud of what she did with the money.

... sigh ... I can't wait until next week to find out how they're going to play this out!

I had to DVR it and watch it this morning! I cannot believe all that happened...I really do not think Meredith will die, she can't, the show will tank if she dies and I think the writer is smarter and wants her show to go longer! My bet is she will have some sort of memory loss or be in a comma for a while...who knows we'll have to wait and see!!

i don't think she will die, but i may be wrong, its so sad i started crying and she was sooo blue and the patrick dempsey started crying, i loved it!! he was soo sweet not wanting to get away from her side, then he was stroking her head. soo sad, but sweet. his old friend was sitting beside him touching his arm, and his ex-wife was like don't do this, she knows dempsey really loves her. i don't think they will kill her because it is her show, her and dempsey are the main characters, and she is she voice for the show. i think they will leave it a cliffhanger then bring her back, because if not, literally over half the viewing audience will stop watching.

i think maybe denny will talk to her telling her it's not her time to leave, and she will come back, but i also think if they show him again and merideth goes back to earth he will tell her to tell izzy he still loves her.

They did a good at making her look dead even if she is going to live. I almost felt like my heart stopped just watching the last scenes.

if meredith dies, i will sit on my bed and cry for atleast an hour. god, i was crying last night!!! it was sooo sad how mcdreamy was trying to save her and how he was crying in the hallway! : .(
i really dont know if she'll die! and heres the awful thing, im not going to be home to see next weeks episode!!! and we don't have a vcr to record anything!!!!!!!!!!
