anybody think there will be a pakistani NBA player soon?not from pakistan but you know either raised in the USA or UK or whatever but from pakistan?

Not soon but eventually they'll probably have someone
They're very new to the game and are just starting to widen it's availability it's going to take a few generations to get into it then get good enough to play
best chance is for a Pakistan-American to grow up with the game but the odds are against anybody making the NBA and with so few Pakistans interested in basketball as their primary sport they're odds are extremely lower
not likely soon but as their interest increases so does their chances

There is no reason that a Pakistani or any other person should not be able to make it to the NBA, NHL, NFL, or any other pro sports league. the only hindrances is perception of self and of ability.
