If Dwayne wins 5 more titles then we can talk. Greatness is ultimately graded on championships.

He is possibly the closest to Michael Jordan since Michael Jordan. All the similarities, the way Wade gets to the basket, finishes those crazy shots, and is developing a jump shot. He also dominates crunch time, something MJ was known for. Not to mention, D-Wade has won an NBA championship in just his third year into the pros, as to Michael Jordan taking seven years to earn the ring. By the end of his career, people will be asking who the next Dwyane Wade will be.

Just plain no. There will never be another Michael Jordan. There will never be a player that's the next Michael Jordan. Why can't DWade just be DWade, why does he have to be an imitation of someone else? Is it really that hard for people to let the man have his own game, his own style and his own era without making him into something he's not? It's long past time people stopped trying to find the next whoever and learn to appreciate the players of today based on nothing other than their own merit.

Michael Jordan was a great player, but I swear, obsession with him and the worldwide refusal to just let him go and stop living in the past, has done more to ruin the game of basketball than all the brawls, drug use, sex scandals and bad officiating combined.

No he's not. Jordan did what Jordan did. Wade does what Wade does. I hate that everytime someone does an exhilarating flow, takes over in the grab, does an athletic dunk or shot, or damm close to at least some thing properly worth pointing out that they are continually suggested as the "next" someone. Oh he's the subsequent Jordan. he's the subsequent Magic. he's the subsequent fowl. effective, make your comparisons, yet go away it at that. end attempting to emphasize new tremendous gamers to be or replace previous tremendous gamers. once you try this, quite of recognizing what Kobe or Wade or Lebron is doing tremendous, you in trouble-free terms concentration on what they don't do like Jordan or Magic or fowl. this can be a marvelous injustice.

Ok People, Dwyane Wade is my favorite young Basketball Player and I know he is going places, he's smart, and an Outstanding player one of the best out there today. However, There is only one Michael Jordan in the basketball world and no matter how good a player is there will not be another. Let these players be them and not the next somebody else

In his first 3 NBA seasons, Jordan led his team to three losing records.

The only times in his career that Jordan ever played on a team with a winning record was when he had Pippen as a teammate. (Jordan had 5 losing seasons in his 15 year career, corresponding to his years without Pippen as a teammate, the first 3 in Chicago, the last 2 in Washington).

So Wade is certainly more accomplished in terms of wins and losses, as well as rings, than Jordan was at a similar age.

Everybody is always looking for the 'next MJ' and the fact is there has never been anybody before and nobody since who should even be put in the same category as MJ. D Wade is one of the best in the NBA now and may go down as one of the best of this era, but as far as rankings go, it is MJ then everybody else.

I think there will be alot of michaels. The only way he won 6 championships is because he had someone who deserves some love..... SCOTTIE PIPPEN!!! He's underrated because Michael was on the team. I say Dwyane, LeBron, Kobe, and Vince Carter are going to be on top.
