Hello there and well done for choosing Cyprus for your holiday.
Cyprus is a beautiful island with wonderful people and a great climate.
The Thalassaki Holiday Village is owned by Airtours/My Travel and in my opinion,it is an excellent choice for a family holiday.
The accomodation is spacious and of a good standard. Their studios will sleep 4 but the 1 and 2 bedroomed apts are much bigger and more convenient.

Its situated on the long stretch of road coming away from Ayia Napa centre towards Nissi Bay so no worries about the younger crowd along that direction-they don't tend to venture far from Ayia Napa centre and the square. The Hotel Tsokkos AnnMaria is next door.

Over the last couple of years Ayia Napa has not been nearly so bad with the 18-30 binge drinking crowd and it appeals more and more to couples and families. That said however, in high season, in the main square after midnight it does get very busy. Luckily thats around 15-20 minutes away from The Thalassaki so, as long as you've gone from that particular area by then you'll have no problems whatsoever. The bars and eateries along Nissi Bay Avenue are family friendly so you do have plenty of choice of amusements and shops. Nissi beach is close by as is the huge waterpark which must be visited. All you need to do is get bus beside hotel for the 10 minute ride to the waterpark.
The Thalassaki pool is large with smaller one for children which is used for watergames at certain times. Music is played by the pool during day while you are sun bathing and the poolbar serves some decent snacks . The Thalassaki is built about 200yrds from a small quiet beach which is perfect for children. The kids are kept occupied either swimming or playing football, volleyball etc with the hotels entertainers. Not sure if they have a kids club as such, but still loads to do.
It's very much a family orientated aparthotel complex with everything you'd need on-site. Not many groups of singles really, it was mainly families and couples.

If there is one thing I think you should be aware of, its that I wouldn't say it was a 4 star property- more of a decent 3 star for Cyprus. That said, it compares very favourably to the typical Spanish hotels/apts so if you've been to Spain in typical 3 star hotels you will be ok at the Thalassaki.
Some travel agents try to oversell this hotel by saying it's more luxurious than it really is, but it is very decent indeed and if you get a good deal it's well worth a try.

As an alternative try the Makronissos Village (Olympic Holidays do this one) it's a bit quieter being further away from the centre, but if you manage to get a 1 x bed bungalow I'm sure you'll love this just as much and it should be cheaper for you.

Make sure you're not paying too much for it and I'm sure you will be absolutley fine.

I hope you have a lovely holiday- All the best!

when you're on a funds, have you ever seen North Cyprus? unbelievable beaches, tremendous food, sparkling food and dissimilar it, solid wine and beer, and all that mind-blowing sunshine, for much less money and with a lot less crowds than the south. it is also a very kinfolk pleasant position, and maximum Turkish Cypriots communicate mind-blowing English too. you are able to now fly there more beneficial cost effectively with Pegasus airways, or e book a equipment through businesses inclusive of Cyprus Paradise or eco-friendly Islands.

It's more like a family place. It's very close to nissi beach (one of the most famous and busy beaches in Cyprus). It's 2 khm away from the center of Ayia Napa and that makes it a quiet place during night.
