I'd be VERY close to the Marauders. I detest Snape beyond my years. I can see why you do too. I Love the Harry Potter Books!

Hey! It's me again! Anyway, I love the Marauders. I don't know so much about Peter though. James and Sirius would make me laugh and entertain me whenever they're around me. Remus and Lily would most likely encourage me to study. Now, Remus isn't too strict about studying, but I know that he'll always remind me. Having Remus and Lily as friends would be great because I can actually hold a conversation with them. With James and Sirius, I'd probably be laughing too much to get a word in, but I'm sure they'll always have very interesting things to talk about with me. Also, I don't have a very good view of Snape, so I guess that isn't a very good base for a friendship, but I would fell sorry for him everytime he would get picked on. Hope this answer helped. :D

If I were at Hogwarts during the Marauders era I think that I would've been friends with James, Sirius, Lily and Lupin. Even though I wouldn't have known that Peter would go on to be a traitor, I doubt that I would've liked him because of his personality. From the way McGonagall described him in book 3, and Snape's worst memory in book 5, we know he followed the others around and made a big show of being deeply impressed with everything they did. I would admire James for his talent at Quidditch, since I like sports. I'd probably laugh at his arrogance, but I'd tell him it is wrong to bully people. I'd probably be attracted to Sirius, as he was supposed to be quite handsome, talented, and had that kind of cool attitude. I think Lupin would be the best friend for me though, since he was smart, respectful, and didn't judge other people. Lily seemed very likable too. I share her independent personality, willingness to defend my beliefs, and compassion for others.

Probably Lily. I would have felt bad for Snape even though I had a dislike for him. If I was friends with Lily I would have probably been friends with the Marauders as well.

Probably Remus....mainly since I seem to have similar personality traits; shy and not very outspoken.
However after he became friends with James and Sirius, I would have most likely not gone along with that since I must say that I found both of them to be arrogant and not really all that nice. So I would have probably sought out people from Hufflepuff after that I guess.

I think I would be more friends with Lily and Lupin only because I am more like them than anyone else. Sirius and James remind me of my brother so I think I would just be annoyed by them.
