If you were a boy, maybe the 60's, a girl the 70's. I think it's different to each gender because the 50's & 60's were safer, so you could do more stuff, but I think that in those times parents were stricter towards their daughters (at least that's how it was for my Mom).
I don't know for sure since I was a teenager in the 90's. I don't think it was the 90's because there was so much more angst and depression in the 90's. Woodstock was so relaxed and fun in the 70's, but in the 90's it broke out in a huge fight.

I guess i had it pretty good. In the 70's all three of my siblings were teens. One brother, two sisters. They use to let me tag along with them in the car. At a young age I got introduced to music. Being the little brother it was cool to hangout with my sisters hot friends. Hanging around my brother was cool because he had a Camero to cruise around in. I remember once my brother and his friend took me to the dragster races. I had to ride in the back of a Chevy El Camino, that was pretty cool. There was eight years between one of my sisters , my brother, and I. My other sister has ten years on me. When I was ten my oldest sister had a party, I had my first hamburger with a beer.I'd say that being around teens in the 70's was better than being a teen in the 80's. When I was a teen in the 80's the best memory I have is going to a Billy Idol concert where I also saw The Cult with their opening act. That was cool. When I was a teen I did alot of running. I was on track and cross country all four years of high school. I ran mostly long distance. If I Could go back to the 70's or the 80's I would have to pick the 70's. They were alot of fun and the girls were hot. I'll be the Dad of a teen in 2015 until 2020. I think I just felt a chill go down my spine.

I think the 50's and 70's both of them had a special something that no other time had. I enjoyed the 60's too.

I was a teenager in the late seventies-early eighties and I always wished that I was a teenager during the sixties (without going to vietnam). Entertainment had so much more variety and imagination during that time frame and it just seemed like it would have been a fun decade to be a teenager in. My older brother lived it and loved it!

The 70s, since that's was when I was a teenager. Best cars, best music. I don't know about the clothes or hair styles though...lol. Those were a little goofy. But they were fun times.
