I met my boyfriend while working in the Middle East. We are due to go to Egypt for a holiday next week but he has a Palestinian passport so it's difficult for him to travel and his visa hasn't come through yet. The only option I may have to see him is to go and visit him but I went in Dec and my family and friends think I should not go becuase they think he isn't making as much effort as me but I don't think they understand the problems we have to meet. Should I go and visit him again? If I do he won't be able to spend all the time with me in his own country as he lives with family and they can't know about me and I'll get grief of my family. If I don't I won't be able to see him for a long time and I miss him so much.

Only you can decide! But is it really worth the trouble of upsetting his or your family when you can only see him on the quiet? His family don't know about you,so what lies his he telling them so he can see you? Your friends can see what you can't as they are on the outside looking in! Are his feelings for you genuine or is he after citizenship! He could have a wife in Egypt that he's keeping quiet about, that's why maybe he hasn't told his family about you!If I were you, I wouldn't go but ask him to write everyday because your miss him.If he begs you to go,then insist you meet his family- then you'll know by his awnser

You already know the sensible answer to this question. Answer number one says it all. Having said that you knew that before you asked so obviously you want to be reassured that you should go. Can't do that I'm afraid but if you love this guy you will go anyway and nothing said on this site is going to stop you seeing him. When he hurts you, and I do mean when not if, that will be your lesson learnt. You cannot help your feelings and in this area no amount of good advice will help we all have to learn this lesson. Sometimes we love people that do return our love in the all consuming way that we love them.

If u miss him then u should go but the problem is why he can't let his family know about you? This is a big trouble and i suggest you go and find out the reason.....

go to the u.s or the u.k ,kido this aint gonna work out.....and people who beleive in distance makes a heart go fonder ,they suck it aitn to true let it be ...seriously....u are wasting ur time but am sure love makes u do some silly things...

If his family can't know about you then don't go. If he can't tell them about you for some reason then there is no future there.
