I'm a lass and I'm ambivilent about it and would watch it if it was on but wouldn't go out of my way to see it again. There are an awful lot better films out there to see besides this, Pretty Woman Top Gun and all the usual chick flicks. You're not missing anything special, especially the potters wheel/ Righteous Brothers bit which is ssoooo cheesy.

I've only seen it when I was younger so I don't really remember the whole story just the classic pottery bit. I could give or take Ghost.
I could also give Dirty Dancing how many girls say that. That film is dull nothing happens til the dance at the end.

I think the movie for its time made girls/women believe that love would survive forever. I think people need to believe when they loose someone. Many girls enjoy this movie because of the romance/love it shows. To watch it today would have a different impact, there is no great special effects. I think that if you find a girl that loves this movie you should watch it then you will understand what kind of love she is looking for!

Yes, awful film.
Well, bits of it are okay but mostly it's rubbish and that pottery sequence is one of the most stomach churning things I've ever seen.

I liked it when it came out...but then it was on TV recently. I watched it for 5 minutes and was laughing my head off. Was I an IDIOT back then? This is the cheesies movie ever that has not withstood the test of time.
