If you're going to run a business, might as well get the license. It'll save you from headaches later on. A neighbor might complain or the local municipal office might come to check up on you. You never know what'll happen. Just be prepared.

We operated a small beauty shop out of our house years ago. It was a small business but we still applied for a business license.

If you just gonna used it in your house and there isn't any sign that says computer renting, i don't think that you will need a license. After all its just only one and they will never know. Sounds cheating hah!

Don't bother. Renting out one computer at home is not business so long as you do not put out any signboard.

I think you only need to apply license if your daily income would be more than 300ph... the only reason why license is needed is for the purpose of taxation...

do you call it a business? one computer for rent is not a business for sure. coz, your not going to earn from it. you will even spend more on it.

You need not. Am sure, the city or municipal trasurer's office won't notice it. But if your rental business grows big, you have to.
