I think those are the ones that are right in front of the stage in front of the seats. You don't get to sit if you have floor seats.

anytime I've ever gotten "floor seats" I never sit down.. i'm sure you have seen videos of concerts and such.. the massive crowd of people you see right in front of the stage .. those are floor seats.. you basically get as close as you can by making your way through the crowd (or just getting there early)

In a sports arena, they are the temporary seats set up in the area where the game is usually played. They are the equivalent of "orchestra" seats in a concert hall.

exactly what it sounds like ... seats on the floor, in front of the stage ... not necessarily the front row, but all the seats on the floor which are situation in front of the stage.
