Do you think black south Africans deserve reperations?

The first black president in an originally black country was in 1991.

90% of the country is black, but all most all the blacks are poor.

over 90% of their olympic team is white.

Whites ended aparthied, but that wasn't a favor.

The blacks haven't had any economic support. That's like me taking over ya land and saying I'll do you a favor and give it back, but the profits I made over it is mine. Start from were I am leaving you off.

I don't hate whites I just see that white people don't see that blacks are in a far lesser, unfairly scale then blacks.

Yes south Africans deserve reparations, the Europeans stole their land and caused all kinds of problems in that community so yes they should get a lot back. They can't use the excuse they use for African Americans that it was over 100 years ago and to get over it. Apartheid ended not too long ago so they deserve something. Jewish Holocaust survivors got lots of stuff so the south Africans deserve something also. (some whites will gasp at this comparison but they must not know how much bloodshed and terror the Dutch or white Afrikaners caused in south Africa.)

i'm no longer likely to generalize and say all blacks are like that. in case you circulate to downtown Jozi (which was the worst place of xenophobic reflects), you would be surprised at how all of them artwork area by utilizing area at their stalls or plaiting hair. what number Black South Africans purchase products from their shops and commerce with them. People need to get some more information on the matter before making all these judgments. First of all you can never compare what they went through with germany occupying Austria. I am white and my country was occupied as well and it can never compare with the kind of long lasting systematic bad treatment they were exposed to. And "cory is back" you must be too lost to waste any time to reply to you. If there is a shred of humanity in you you need to get help and stop making this world such a dark and evil place. Educate yourself properly on the matter and stop believing lies and propaganda. Because this "truth" you are speaking of did not come from you. You are just so lost that you have to spend your entire life hating on innocent people and making this world a worse place to live in and that is very sad. I know tons of people must have said this to you and you will probably never even read it but it needs to be said. If you have so much hatred in you please keep it to yourself because honestly you do not know the smallest thing.You need to spend some time helping yourself out so you can get a little more happier and stop spreading blind hatred and suffering.

I come from South Africa and let me tell u something pal, u have more of a problem with the skin colour of the people there then they themselves do. In all my years of going to school there, i have only once had to deal with a racial incident among children, whereas in England where i now live , i deal with it on a weekly basis.

Also, there are many great athletes of colour in SA. maybe not on the Olympic team, but its only been about 12 years since apartheid was ended and things like that takes a lot of time to change completely.

Over there, we do notice the difference in the colour of our skins, but we dont make a big deal about it. It is true that many black people are poor, but just think about it, the majority of people are black, so obviously the majority of the poor will black. There are also many white people who are desperately poor, but because white people are stereo typed as being rich and prosperous, these people are not noticed at all.

lastly, I have seen rich black people treat the other black people who work fir them with such disrespect, as if they are less human than them, where as, many white people who give work to people of colour who stand and ask for work on street corners treat them like human beings, and not like inferiors.

I dont know where u come from, but unless u have actually been part of society there, and until u accept that the wounds are still healing, u can not really say anything.

I am very proud of all the people in SA, every one are making a difference and it is just the minority who are giving others a bad name, so dont judge by what u see on the surface.

i just read an article about how the government was forcibly kicking white farmers off of their land for the sole reason that they were white. I think unless everyone in the world is ready to give reparations to everyone then no. NO one should get them. My ancestry shows that i am Austrian and Scottish, i didn't receive any reparations from the Nazis that took over Austria, and neither have the Jews. And i haven't been given reparations from the English for terrorizing, raping , and killing my Scottish ancestors. But the difference is that I don't feel "entitled" to it. The current people who would have to pay, didn't commit the crimes, and those crimes weren't committed against me. So i think reparations decades after the fact is dumb. Only if the ACTUAL people who were involved are paying or receiving, then its okay i think.

Real Equality
Day of Forgiveness w/ the whites
ARV Drugs
Condoms
More trade
Industry

And people to stop thinking that in the less than 20 years of independance its because the people are black the country had fallen when in fact the wealth is going to 100%, guess there wasn't much to begin with.

They had the Truth & Reconciliation instead of reparations. South African whites and blacks have a relationship that is light years better than the race relations in America. Let them figure it out the way that is best for them!
