Spinning the words around to suit your needs is what the Republicans deem as political correctness. The Scooter Libby trial will define where they stand real soon.

There is nothing about what the Bush Administration has done in Iraq that has been legal. Abu Graib prison and torture, Gitmo prison and open ended detainees, the NON-rebuilding and embezzlement of American tax payers funds going to Carlyle, and Halliburton for Iraqi swimming pools., 650,000 plus civilian lives lost plus the deaths of coalition soldiers. What a mess!!! Scooter Libby is on trail for perjury, and he isn't winning the case either...next will be Cheney then Bush.

First of all, i believe you are insinuating that they lied. Secondly, like a previous person said, propoganda!
We were attacked, Sadaam was proven guilty of other more heinous crimes even if we didn't have absolute proof of WMD's, we are merely defending ourselves. if you want "fair", then we should also be attacking several other ME countries that the terrorists from 9/11, marine barracks, navy ship, etc have attacked! we have held our peace long enough and tried being the "good" guy. 9/11 just pushed the wrong button! we do NOT have to prove to anyone except ourselves to justify declaring war on another country! all treaties and un resolutions and everything are considered null and void LEGALLY and MORALLY when we were attacked! many propagators against the war fail to realize that a clause like that is inserted in EVERY legal document the US signs with a foreign country, including business, treaties, resolutions, etc. but to address your question:
yes this war is legal, there was NOT any BLATANT falsifying of intel on our side, only our sources. how do you hold a foreinger accountable to us law if he is not in the us? you don't! so there is no one to hold accountable, not even bush, he only acted on presumptions given him, but he is getting ALL the blame. the dems are to much of a coward to admit their wrong assumptions int his ordeal and are now trying to cut off funding to our troops in battle so that their lives are even in more danger! does anyone care? no. cause no one wants the world to mad at us! get real, muslims have always thought (most not all) that america is the "great whore of babylon" and wnated to destroy us! long b4 most people who are 'crying and whining' about the war were even born!

The war is not legal. That's the point. Our troops are dying because of lying and falsifying documents to gain support for a war and hide their real agenda...oil.

thats why the international press follows the Valerie Phlame scandal closer than americans do. Because if they dont get convicted it will show that we are corrupt thru and thru and our government and therefor currency cant be trusted. I hope Dick Cheney and Bush Co all go to jail for the media manipulation as well as the overt and covert manipulation of people in key positions to get us into this war!!!

Patience--the hearings are coming, the Libby trial is a small step.
Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Condi, Wolfowitz and the like will surely get their time on the witness stand under oath.

What about perjury? I guess oral sex still isn't sex under Clinton law. Both parties do the same things. Both parties have the same agenda. Both parties take us to the same end point, the only difference is that one party takes the left path and the other takes the right. Politics = corruption, has changed since the beginning of any government, and guess what, it never will.

How the intel and documents were handled was *inappropriate*. Basically it was illegal, but the word inappropriate sounds better.
