Hi my Dad has an alcolholic problem srry if i can't spell it im only in the 5th grade i want to know how to tell him how to stop but i worry about my Dad that is why i go to the counsler every Thursday im also worried about his health what are some problems that can happend when u drink a lot!? P.S HELP!

You can talk to your counselor and let her know what you're concerned about. Normally people who become alcohilics do it because they are depressed or sttressed out. Normally there is something bothering them that they turn to alcohol for comfort. Alcohol can cause liver damamge and if you drink too much you can overdose on alcohol. But please do talk to your coun selor and let her know whats going on she can help you and your family!!!!

im sorry you have seen all this at such a young age. you didnt mention your mum in your question but you could talk to her. if you cant i suggest you talk to your counsellor about problems with alcohol. i know you are worried about your dad but its not your fault. dont blame yourself. the only person who can make him stop drinking is himself. you can only help him when he does. hugs.x

Talk to your school counselor. She (or He) can talk to your father or help you tell him how you feel and that this is hurting you. Good luck,
