When you plug your ext. HD in, in the "My Computer" folder, there should be another drive, either "Removable Disk" or "Local Disk"
ie: Local Disk (F:) or Removable Disk (F:)
Then find out where your I-Tunes library is located on your main drive (ie: C:\Program Files\ITunes\Library), select the folder, then Ctrl+X to cut it out, then open your removable disk or local disk, and Ctrl+V to paste it into the ext HD.

If all you may desire to do is plug in the irritating tension on your computing gadget, make a sparkling folder, positioned all your iTunes archives into the folder, and reproduction that folder into the irritating tension (it incredibly is, if the irritating tension right away comes up on the pc with a folder.).
