Dialer_Ras?

my computer has been running slow lately, and i did a virus scan. the only threats it found were a few cookies in the temp folder, and something called "Dialer_Ras." i dont want to delete this until i know its a major threat. i did research on it and the only thing i've found is that it just creates dialup things without the user's permission... but i wanted to know if deleting this would make my computer run a little faster, or if deleting it would slow down my computer or delete files i need....

please provide an explanation as to why i should/shouldnt delete this file. thanks!

Get rid of that dialer ASAP what that thing can do is run your phone bill up into the hundreds. Those are usually porno sites, they load a self healing bit into your registry and regardless of what you do thru deletion using AntiVirus, AntiTrogan or what ever they will still be there upon startup. That particular dialer you have , Dialer_Ras. can alter your dial up and change your computer settings, alter files, etc.

I see info on the WEB, probably 3 ways how to edit that thing out ouf your Registry. Go to Start, Run, type in regedit and follow the directions on one of these direction sites shown on Google.
